It appears your source of news is primarily the FOX TV talk show hosts. Several other channels have been airing the same information plus the number and names of Republicans who are also pulling out. FOX talk show hosts do try to manipulate viewers opinions – like the trick Hannity tried to pull off when he aired a video of the McCain/Palin campaigns and told viewers it was a massive turn out for book signing. He has been caught several times trying to manipulate people with his falsifications, twisted information and accusations.

I expect shenanigans from Democrats. They openly issues that are over the edge, shady, or not what the mainstream considers moral. They ideals that are clearly socialistic, which to most Americans is immoral in itself.
I expect that from the Republicans. They run on a ticket of moral values, which leads me to believe they are open and truthful. Like Charles said, the only real aversion to cloth diapers most people have is that gross to wash and change. definitely right about them being super bad for the environement. They take about 550 years to decompose, and if you recycle things like shower rings, you should definitely go for the cloth diapers. Especially since most are more gentle to baby skin than disposables.
